Tech Talk Schedule at Phuket Software Park Announced
Tech Talk seminars at Software Park Phuket has been announced will be conducted in September. The seminar would take three days in three different dates, that is on September 2nd, 23th and 30th.
The first seminar, on September 2nd take theme “Blogspot: An easy way to create a website,” by Phuket Innovation Incubation Center and will be delivered with Thai-language. That on September 23rd with “Creating a blog with Wordpress” as it theme will be delivered by Kudos Technnovation using Thai language and English’s slides. The last one is on September 30th delivered by Phuket School as they take the theme “Business on Facebook / Fan Page,” using Thai-language presentation with English slides. This last day seminar will be completed with Q&A session in Thai and English.
‘Tech Talk’ is a series of free weekly activities for people interested in building the ICT community in Phuket and putting the latest, most effective computer technology to work on the island. Organizers are trying to bring together people who want to learn state-of-the-art techniques, with topics that range from explaining new technology to real-life experiences with computer systems here in Phuket. These sessions are held Thursdays from 6pm to 7:30pm, on the third floor of Software Park Phuket, on Chao Fah West Rd about one kilometer north of the Kajonkietsuksa School.

Phuket Probably the Host for World Weightlifting Championships 2015
The Thai Amateur Weightlifting Association (TAWL) is considering proposing Phuket to host the World Weightlifting Championships in 2015. A delegation from this association yesterday morning visited Phuket Provincial Hall to discuss that idea in a meeting with Phuket Vice Governor Teerayut Eimtrakul.
